In Europe, they have started selling a special edition of the Nissan Qashqai

Alright, brace yourselves, ladies and gentlemen, because Nissan is back at it again, unleashing their revamped compact crossover, the Nissan Qashqai N-Style, onto the unsuspecting streets of Europe. What makes it so special, you ask? Well, hold on to your tea cups, because this version is loaded with more modern tech than a spaceship from the future.

A few years back, the fine folks on the Old Continent got a taste of the N-Style edition of the Nissan Qashqai, but for reasons known only to the automotive gods, it mysteriously disappeared from the scene. Fast forward to today, and guess what? It’s making a triumphant comeback, ready to rock the roads of Europe once again. Positioned snugly between the Acenta and N-Connecta trims, this special edition is the Goldilocks of the Qashqai lineup.

Now, let’s talk about what’s under the hood of this beast. The N-Style comes equipped with a safety arsenal that could rival a superhero’s utility belt – multiple airbags, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, daytime running lights, LED taillights, tinted rear windows, high beam assist, rain-sensing wipers, electrically adjustable, folding, and heated exterior mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, fabric upholstery, height-adjustable front seats, and a multifunctional leather steering wheel that adjusts to your every whim – height and depth included.

But wait, there’s more! In the N-Style trim, you get a combo of Nissan Drive Assist with a 7-inch TFT screen, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, DAB digital radio, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, keyless ignition, remote central locking, intelligent cruise control, and a speed limiter. Phew, take a breath.

And if you thought that was all, think again. The N-Style doesn’t skimp on driver assistance and active safety systems – emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, and a bunch of other fancy gadgets to keep you out of trouble.

Now, let’s talk about the heart of this bad boy. The Qashqai N-Style is only available with electrified petrol engines featuring 12-volt mild hybrid technology (MHEV). The base engine is a 1.3-liter DIG-T powerhouse belting out 140 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. If you’re feeling a bit frisky, there’s also a version with a 158-horsepower, 260 Nm torque 1.3 DIG-T engine.

Now, the burning question: how much will this beast set you back? Well, for the 1.3 DIG-T 140 CV 6v MHEV, you’re looking at a cool 35,000 euros. But if you want to upgrade to the 1.3 DIG-T 158 CV Xtronic MHEV, be prepared to shell out 38,100 euros. Class doesn’t come cheap, my friends, but let’s face it – cruising the streets in the Qashqai N-Style is worth every penny.
