Volkswagen has unveiled the affordable electric car, the ID.3, for the 2024 model year. The car is offered at $23,000.
Built on the MEB platform, the vehicle has undergone an annual facelift. The Volkswagen ID.3 maintains its previously chosen style but has received a new Fjord Blue color option. It is also available in Aurora Green, Ion Grey, and Star White.
This model is also equipped with 20-inch Surging Hurricane wheels, a panoramic roof, and electric sun visors. The car features a spacious cargo compartment, a projection display with augmented reality, and ambient lighting.
The length, width, and height of the Volkswagen ID.3 for the 2024 model year are 4261, 1778, and 1568 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase remains at 2765 mm, consistent with the current model. The Volkswagen ID.3 recently rolled off the assembly line, officially becoming the 27 millionth vehicle from the SAIC Volkswagen joint venture.
Regarding power, the Volkswagen ID.3 for the 2024 model year is equipped with an engine with a maximum power of 125 kW and a maximum torque of 310 Nm. It can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in 3 seconds and has a range of up to 450 kilometers without recharging.
The car features adaptive cruise control and an automatic parking function.
